Website design for environmental group in the south side of Glasgow

In keeping with South Seeds’ ‘DIY’ ethos, the site was made to look like it was made from a patchwork of different recycled materials. Minimalist design and muted colours were out, various textures and a bright colour palette were in.

Individual pages feature a parallax effect to add depth to the site and to bring foreground elements out.

Blog posts have been simplified and images automatically reconfigure themselves into 3 different sizes, depending on how they are aligned in the post, simplifying the process of adding images and taking away the worry that wrongly sized images are going to interfere with text.
